How Can I Do The Fourth Stage Of Cubefield
APPEAL AGAINST THE REMOVAL OF SOCIETA 'IN CIVIL TURKISH KURDISTAN
Italian Network of Solidarity with the Kurdish people
Italian Network of Solidarity with the Kurdish people
In Turkish Kurdistan is still dirty war against the Kurdish people and against its democratic structures. A war waged in violation of any law or international agreement which Turkey has signed.
Vast areas of the country have declared war zones, equivalent to open-air prisons for millions of people. The Kurds return to villages being burned and evacuated by the Turkish armed forces resulting in exodus of civilians who are forcibly forced to flee their homes and their land. The forests, in defiance of international conventions, not to leave preparations for use are burned to Kurdish guerrillas, and an entire ecosystem is so devastated.
More than 4000 children and hundreds on trial those who are still detained in adult prisons, offenders often have only taken part in demonstrations or throwing objects at the armored police. The recent reform of the Counter-Terrorism Law (July 2010) the result of campaigns and international pressure will lead to the release of some imprisoned children, unhealthy, because of the many exceptions and exemptions that contains the status of a breach of the UN Convention on Rights of the Child, signed by Turkey itself. There are still dramatic prison conditions and remains a real risk for children to be incarcerated for their involvement in events square.
A people in prison but can not be reduced to silence. In prison as more than 2,000 mayors, local government officials, human rights activists and representatives of civil society, from
extraordinary electoral success of the Kurdish Democratic Society Party (DTP) in local elections of March 2009 continue to be arrested mass. Covered by imprisonment
Secret State, so that the charges were released only after 14 months from the time of arrest. Even here, once again, dialogue, policy option was chosen by the Turkish authorities, instead of giving space only to the interests of the lobbies of the war and some political forces are already involved in campaigning for national elections in 2011. Elections in which the Kurds will participate in the party of peace and democracy (BDP) that after the forced closure of the DTP in December 2010 has become the political force that represents the Kurdish people and its demand for recognition of rights and a peaceful resolution and Democratic Kurdish question. A request to which it aspires strongly that part of the Turkish population that does not identify with a state violator of the basic rights of its citizens.
The same war against the guerrillas of the Kurdish People's Defence Forces (HPG) is conducted in a manner and with brutal methods that do not respect the Geneva Convention on treatment of prisoners and the conduct of armed conflict. The bodies of guerrillas killed maimed and injured are macabre enough to make it impossible for families to recognize. In many cases the bodies were burned and was prevented families the right to celebrate the funeral. He returned to be the widespread use of poison gas as a weapon of mass annihilation.
We, as representatives of the Italian civil society, we can not tolerate the way of dialogue and confrontation
be destroyed and annihilated in this way;
- condemn the behavior of Turkey, preventing the Kurdish people to grow and to articulate the political point of view, it ends up perpetrating a cruel and endless war for the consumption needs of Internal power;
- we believe that the Kurdish question can never be resolved without a real commitment on the part of Turkey, for a true democratization of institutions and, without giving the Kurdish people to be accepted and considered as a political actor with whom dialogue on an equal footing;
- we believe the abolition of the law on counter (which allows detentions and abuses in derogation of the same Criminal Code), one of basic steps to take to reach that democratization
- riteniamo necessaria, al fine di permettere una riconciliazione reale l’adesione della Turchia alla Corte penale internazionale de L’Aia e la ratifica dello Statuto di Roma al fine di permettere di chiudere con la giustizia dovuta gli anni della guerra sporca e poter costruire la pace basandola però su una seria assunzione di responsabilità dello Stato e dei suoi singoli servitori verso le vittime degli abusi;
- We ask that all the world of Italian peace, to those who still work to another world based on respect, dialogue and mutual recognition, not to leave only the Kurdish civil society.
October 18 will start the trial of mayors he Kurdish civil society. We, as Democrats, peacemakers, and helpers, we are committed, now, to be present in court, where it will be processed Kurdish democracy, to show the sense of international solidarity.
With the arrival of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Ocalan in Rome, November 12, 1999, began, from Europe, the assault on the sky of the Kurdish people. On November 13, 2010, wanting to rebuild a symbolic link to those days, we will be square in Rome with a major national event because we think that "Piazza Kurdistan" calls us, that those eyes of Kurdish and Kurds who now crossed more than a decade is still demand justice and hope in the peace and liberation. That this could be a great opportunity to show the Italian and Turkish authorities that the Kurdish people is not alone. We hear the cry for freedom in Europe that we are now from Turkish prisons and courtrooms. We live in the hope of freedom and peace of the Kurdish people.

Turkey, the PKK ceasefire offer
Only yesterday
"Peace in exchange for more rights, the process under UN supervision"
La Stampa
Political rights and civil rights and free expression of Kurdish identity and culture in exchange for a permanent ceasefire. It is the proposal made by the leader of the Kurdish separatist PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party), Murat Karayilan, Turkey to end a conflict that has gone on for 26 years and has already claimed tens of thousands of deaths.
In an interview with the BBC from a hideout in the mountains of Iraqi Kurdistian, Karayilan said he was ready to order his men to lay down their arms if Turkey accepts the cease-fire and the conditions of the movement, in a process that should take place under UN supervision. Among the conditions set by the leader of the PKK, there is the end of the arrests of civilians and Kurdish politicians, but also the recognition of political, civil and cultural rights to minorities, according to unofficial estimates, represents one fifth of the Turkish population .
"If the Kurdish issue will be resolved in a democratic manner through dialogue, lay down their weapons, "he assured Karayilan, only to return to the threats:" But if the turkish government refuses to accept this option, we will be forced to proclaim independence. " Cold, for the moment, the reaction of the turkish government. An official source requested by the BBC always has merely stated that "it is not used (the executive) to comment on statements by terrorists." The PKK is blacklisted by the U.S. and EU list of terrorist organizations since the mid-eighties and is engaged in an armed clash with the Turkish authorities that has already claimed more than 40 thousand victims.
Only yesterday
six Turkish soldiers were killed and 17 others were injured in a firefight with a group of separatist PKK in the southeastern province of Hakkari. The fighters had attacked a military unit on the night in the village of Kavusak, District of Cukurca. The military, backed by helicopter gunships arrived on the spot. For years the turkish army is engaged along the border with Iraq against the PKK militants, who have their bases in the mountainous region between Turkey and Iraq. The operations are intensified in the summer months this year and have already made hundreds of victims among the Kurdish fighters and dozens of soldiers. The defense minister, Vecdi Gonul, announced last week that the turkish army will soon constitute a special unit to combat the PKK. The task of the new unit will be to patrol the south-eastern border with Iraq and its soldiers will be equipped with sophisticated weapons.

The Pubcrawlers Another Night On The Floor
continues the persecution of the Kurdish people

PRESS
Rome, 20 July '10
Sunday, July 18, 2010 was stopped in the Province of Padova, Hon. Nizamettin Toguchi, President of the Confederation of Kurdish Associations in Europe (Kon Kurd). We learn from the statement from the police headquarters in Venice, taken from various news agencies and local and national newspapers that the Hon. Toguchi is "one of the leaders the PKK in Europe "and that" The presence of Toguchi in Italy had emerged during the investigations that are conducted over two years by the Central Directorate of Police Prevention Department of Public Safety with information support AIS "and that this activity would allow investigation" in February this year to find a training camp of the Kurdish PKK party in the province of Pisa and run 11 orders for custody in a prison .
We believe that this statement is totally misleading and instrumental interests that are those of clarity and justice around the Kurdish question.
The Hon. Toguchi is a man who has always played his political activities in the light of the sun, within the law and respect for democratic principles. He has always played in legal Kurdish political parties: the first nell'HEP (People's Party), then the DEP (Democracy Party of Labour). He was deputy in the Kurdish and Turkish Grand National Assembly after the State turkish decided to outlaw his party in 1994, was forced to seek refuge in Europe. Recall that Members who were unable to flee, as Leyla Zana, were imprisoned for decades for crimes of opinion. Remember too that Leyla Zana was awarded the Sakharov Prize: it is therefore paradoxical to receive an award for the "crimes" for which other members are considered dangerous terrorists. Crimes such as speaking in Kurdish and worked to defend the Kurdish identity.
In Holland, where he continued in the light of the sun, his political activities, he was given the status of political refugee in 1995 was one of the founders of the Kurdish Parliament in exile and was elected as President of Islamic Movement of Kurdistan since 2004 and is President of the Confederation of Kurdish Associations in Europe (Kon Kurd).
During his political activities he was to suffer state terrorism is arrested for having listened to a cassette of Kurdish music, was seriously wounded by an attack by Hezbollah (Turkish political and religious organization close to the military) during a political demonstration in the square where the other Mr Kurd, Mehmet Sincar, died instantly.
the police headquarters in the press release states that the presence of Mr. Toguchi in Italy would emerge with two-year investigation aimed at dismantling a military network of the PKK. Too bad that Mr. Toguchi was in Italy on vacation with his wife from 7 July where he would have stayed until 27.
Con la speranza e fiducia che la giustizia Italian can quickly shed light on this matter that is against one of the most important symbols of political and democratic struggle of the Kurdish people, not only in Europe but all over the world we, as a Kurdish community in Italy, will manifest in Venice, Piazzale Rome in Campo San Geremia, 17:30 until 20:30, July 24, 2010 against the policies of removal of Turkish and Kurdish political and civil society also against the policies of criminalization of the Kurdish community in Europe carried out by Turkey. It will also show with pictures of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by turkish.

Turkey, the Council of Europe slams' too many children in the prisons'
Peacereporter "In Turkey there are too many children in detention."

According to Hammarberg the fact that children suffer in Turkey, according to anti-terrorism law, heavy sentences for acts that other countries would be judged as minor offenses raises serious problems that must exist on the proportionality between the punishment and the with this aim that we want to achieve. According to this law in fact, in Turkey, a child may be sentenced to 15 years imprisonment for causing disturbances during demonstrations considered pro-terrorism. According to the letters sent to two ministers at the end of 2009 there were 2,500 children detained in prison, of which only 10 percent has actually been indicted.
"I hope - Concluded the Commissioner - that the proposals for reform of anti-terrorism and their future application will help build a judicial system more suitable for smaller, more focused on education, and alternatives to detention. "

CPT report on the condition of Ocalan
ANF 10.07.2010 - The European Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT) issued a report on prison conditions of Ocalan Abddullah with the replication of the turkish government. According to the report, however, conditions are improving and will be monitored by monthly reports.
Here are the findings of the CPT and the reply of the Secretary of State turkish.
The CPT calls for Ocalan to be prevented from contact with other inmates during the outdoor exercise. The State responds that this is because turkish Ocalan has been subjected to disciplinary action and punishment for this is because he is only two hours to meet with others and not four.
The CPT also requires that Ocalan to be allowed to use television, despite the fact that this is allowed to other inmates, when Ocalan to be denied the right to buy or rent one: "The Committee would like to have the comments of the authorities Turkey on this issue. The Turkish authorities have been saying that he could organize an army structure, send messages to members of
or drive the same through the television. "
The CPT calls upon the authorities that each prisoner should be allowed to receive visits once a month fixed by the next of kin (in case of Ocalan from his brother and sister). The CPT would like prisoners is made possible to combine the visits made (remembering the location of Imrali) and newcomers to the prisoners is guaranteed the right to make two phone calls to ten minutes per month. The CPT therefore renews its call for Ocalan also be allowed the right to call
, on time, his family. The State responded that turkish, being subjected to disciplinary punishment can not enjoy these rights and that the brother and sister are not considered family members in the strict sense.
The CPT recommends that the provision of medical assistance to prisoners of Imrali be reviewed in accordance with paragraphs 33 and 34. Must be made for immediate action to ensure that a medical record is opened, accessibile solo a personale medico, di ogni detenuto.
permettere ai prigionieri di inviare lettere all’esterno: “Il CPT continuerà a monitorare assiduamente la condizione di Ocalan (così come quella other prisoners) and will not hesitate to reopen the above procedure should we discover that the steps required are not implemented. "
