Mourning in Kurdish city
The celebrations for the end of Ramadan have been canceled in the Kurdish city, in protest against the killing of nine Kurdish guerrillas in the province of Van. The BDP
(Party for Peace and Democracy) has canceled all meetings of the local party to celebrate the Eid Fitr. Most of the Kurds has visited the graves of fallen warriors, praying and carrying flowers on the gravestones in Diyarbakir, Hakkari, Siirt, Sirnak, Van, Agri and Erzurum. A
Diyarbakir were taken on flowers slab of Vedat Aydin, the Turkish police killed 20 years ago.
On Tuesday, the turkish army has killed nine Kurdish guerrillas in a clash in the province of Van in spite of the cease-fire declared by the PKK.
