Gaberscik, il Teatro di Giorgio Gaber : testo, rappresentazione, modello è un’indagine sulla drammaturgia di Gaber/Luporini, il “Teatro Canzone” e il “Teatro d’Evocazione”. Il volume propone un’analisi critica sulla scrittura scenica di Gaber e una ricognizione sulle interpretazioni avvenute dopo la scomparsa dell’autore/attore/cantante.

Nella prima parte si prendono in esame le drammaturgie e gli allestimenti storici de The case of Alexander and Mary (1982); Mariù Parlami d'amore (1986); Gray (1988); The god child (1993) and of starvation that time I had there twenty-five years (2000). It also investigates the relationship of Giorgio Gaber with the work of Samuel Beckett, which led to the enactment in 1990 of directed and starred in Waiting for Godot, as well as by the same Gaber, by Roger Whittaker, Paolo Rossi and Happy Andreasi.

In the second part of the book, which collects contributions from his directors, actors, theater critics, we face the problem of representing today "without Gaber Gaber: reflections on the evidence of actor Marcoré Blacks, Eugenio Allegri, Giulio Casale, Claudio Bisio, Fausto Russo Alesi, Luca Giorgio Barbareschi and directions of Gallio and Serena Sinigaglia.

The DVD offers a tribute to Massimo Puliani Gaber and Beckett, a reconstruction of digital images (Enrica Scalfari), music (Stephen Vagnini) and characters (drawn from the first act of the original text) of dell'allestimento Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett, was staged in Venice in 1990. In addition, the DVD offers una performance di Paolo Rossi nell'ambito di una partecipazione al Festival Gaber di Viareggio nel 2007, dove interpretò La strana famiglia.
